Amanda D. Busick
Ms. Busick represents clients in divorce, child custody, domestic violence restraining orders, child support, spousal support, and guardianship matters, bringing skill, empathy, and creative problem-solving to every case.
Ms. Busick has more than a decade of experience in family law and is known for her aggressive yet compassionate approach, combining sharp litigation skills with a deep understanding of the emotional and practical complexities facing family law clients.
Before entering private practice, Ms. Busick clerked for a Family Law Judge and Family Law Commissioner. She then worked for two large regional firms, where she worked alongside some of the most respected family law trial attorneys in California's Central Coast and Valley.
Ms. Busick is passionate about representing her clients and teaching. She is a professor at the local law school and currently serves on several boards of directors in San Luis Obispo.

The Legal Beagle has been on staff since opening day. She specializes in tracking down elusive facts, digging up buried evidence, and catching subtle details that human investigators completely miss. Her daily duties include welcoming clients at the door and supervising cases from her favorite corner.
Although she bills no hours, Emma's unwavering commitment to the firm and contributions to client comfort are immeasurable.
